Advisory Services

This type of engagement is often called for after WCG has established a trusted relationship with a client and is somewhat familiar with the strategic direction, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of a client’s business. This model also works well on a referral, when an out-of-the-blue opinion is needed by someone who is a true outsider, someone who has a detailed understanding of the market, but not the specific client.

However it is done, an informed second opinion gives you a fresh point-of-view - sometimes even keeping your business from making a serious mistake, or just giving you the confidence you need to move forward with that important decision.

Small Business
When running a small business there is rarely either time or budget for consulting of any type. This half-day session is designed for one thing: bring focus and a fresh set of ideas to your business approach to attracting new customers. In this day and age, hanging out a sign and buying a page in the Yellow Pages does not do enough to bring in the customers your business plan needs. By spending a few highly structured and focused hours together we can creatively re-energize your approach to selling.

The process works like this:

Step 1: One week before the session, the client sends WCG all the background information they would like us to know about their business: geography, floor traffic, sales methodology, product or service overview, strategic vision, historical results, competitive situation, annual goals, acquisition candidates – anything you can think of.

Note: WCG typically signs an NDA to provide legal protection for all confidential information exchanged. I n the event the client does not have, or is unfamiliar with the NDA process - WCG will provide a standard agreement for review by client prior to the engagement. – We want your information to be Safe!

Step 2: A highly structured half day review session. This can be done at your business location or at our offices in Wenham, whichever fits your needs best. We will methodically review the information sent to us as well as share with the client our own insight and experience in building effective sales plans. Although sometimes grueling, this discussion always reveals several areas for immediate attention and improvement.

Note: Half day is from 8:30 – 12 noon, but can be done in the evening or on weekends to fit the client’s schedule.
